About Masa & Madre
We do fish tacos. Really, really well. Beer-battered cod on a warm corn tortilla with pickled red onion, chipotle crema, and a squeeze of lime. It's the dish that built our reputation at markets across east London, and it's the dish that books us 50+ weddings a year. But we're not a one-trick pony — the birria tacos (slow-braised beef shin, dipped in consommé) are the sleeper hit, and the grilled prawn tacos with mango salsa are summer on a plate. We also run a mezcal margarita bar that's got us into serious trouble at several events. The truck is tiled in traditional Mexican Talavera patterns, and we play a playlist that goes from Selena to Bad Bunny.
